It’s More Radical than Roe

While we wait for the Supreme Court's official opinion, Democrats and the radical Left are already at work pushing their extreme and discriminatory abortion agenda on the American people.  

Nearly every Democrat in the House and Senate is on the record supporting the Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act. It creates a national standard mandating all states offer abortions of unborn children for any reason and at any stage of pregnancy up until birth.  

The Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act is more radical than Roe. It must be stopped. 

Here’s what makes this bill so radical: 

• The Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act allows for discriminatory abortions on the basis of a baby’s sex, race, and disability. 
• The bill would allow abortions at any point in pregnancy, even after nearly 4 months, which is when all of the baby’s major organs have been formed, the baby has a fully developed heart, and when the baby can feel pain.  
• It overrides pro-life laws and prohibits states from enacting legislation that protects unborn children, such as protections for babies with Down syndrome and other disabilities. 
• It removes commonsense protections for women and children. For example, the Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act would not allow states to enact laws to ensure parental involvement for minors or laws to protect women from coercion. 
• This bill includes vague language that could also weaken conscience protections for medical professionals and limit their right to refuse to participate in an abortion. 

We must protect life from the Democrats’ discriminatory abortion agenda and affirm that people like Chloe, Cole, and Valentina have lives worth living. 

As Republican Leader of the Energy and Commerce Committee Cathy McMorris Rodgers said, Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act “isn’t science. It’s not the latest research. It has nothing to do with women’s health, and everything to do with ignoring science to force an extreme position on all of America.” 

We must stop the Left’s radical, extreme, and discriminatory abortion agenda and uphold the value, dignity, and potential of every person’s life.
