DIGITAL REVIEW: Finalizing the Opioid Package


WASHINGTON, DC – This week, in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building, Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) chaired the House and Senate conference meeting to finalize a comprehensive opioid package. The legislative text for the conference report to S. 524, the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016, was filed on Wednesday evening, and the House overwhelmingly approved the measure on Friday by an vote of 407 to 5.

work on the opioid package.
